The Sense of Proportion

A sense of proportion or like Barnett Newman called it the "human scale" is something pretty essential to all art. It's a pity that it is marganilised nowadays. What actually is the perspective?!

Interesting that John Cleese in his remarks on a political correctness running wild, would mention this sense of proportion, too. There is a lot to lose because of self-centred sensitiveness and I fear that together with the sense of humour and proportion understanding and intelligence will lessen as well.
