Sense of Adventure

never minding or rather looking forward to those bruised knees and silly mishaps

cause one does not want to be but to live

Medium

there's nothing coming close to the immediacy

Let's just hope there'll never be a medium for life.

Unconstrained

Having this discussion about love and sex. Strongly believing that love is not lost by sharing, feeling it with many people. On the contrary it will increase and deepen even towards every single one of them.

Inside Out

The moment you copletely are beside yourself because you are to the full extent hit by the realisation of what you are actually doing.

Paleface

Sitting in a bus returning from an outing with two children of a darker complexion, who had heard the expression "paleface" for the first time in their lives. Listening to and joining in with their open, warm and friendly laughter while they repeat the word time after time, because to them it is absolutely ridiculous.

Paradoxon

The roughness of the earth and age wore him down making him look fragile, yet his mind - and eyes - was so agile that I've never seen a person so alive before and again.

Singularity

"If one person can leave his (the doctor's) office feeling a tiny bit better, then he (the physicain) has been useful." - Peter Brook

Indeed laughter is a gift.

To the Rescue

"To laugh at one another is the most beautiful expression of fondness for one another." - Gilles De Coster

If this works - and from experience I know it does -, it is because of common trust.

The Heart of the Matter

or a matter of the heart

"Faith is not a question of the existence or non-existence of god. It is believing that love without reward is valuable." - Emmanuel Levinas

Adolf Wohlbrück/Anton Walbrook: "..., denn Liebe belohnt sich in sich selbst/...for love rewards itself within itself"

Liars and Actors

As indeed I once met this actor with a quite distinct positive relationship to not telling the exact truth, and further that Hermine Körner is probably right in claiming that actors can only depict what  they themselves feel, picture my amazement at coming across the actor who played a character that obviously had a hard time lying and captured this emotion pretty convincingly. How to pretend?!

Entropology - Anthropology

The reason for some recent confusion.

For decades now life has been likened to thermodynamics. Yet it is not physics but has been biology all along.

Advice

I can see why people are into art for the money in it. In this world there are some people having far too much money, money they do not know how to spend or are rather unwilling to spend. So they invest and they invest in probably the only thing that promises authenticity, a meaning to life nowadays. Yet if you are into it because of the money you are into it for all the wrong reasons, gradually destroying the thing you were so much craving for.
