Maybe, just maybe it's a fallacy to believe that the individual and community are opposites. Maybe in order for each and everybody to develop their full potential there should prevail a strong sense of community.

Yet once the laughter and celebrations have died away everybody's got to realise that their clothes have been stolen as well.

When asked why I wanted to take a cross country ski course or rather what I was interesetd in learning, I replied - and this is true - that I was interested in learning how to brake. Everybody present was laughing, but then the instructor had to admit that this actually was the most important thing.
