Dream

So the journey begins and the aim seems vague but clear. Yet suddenly a door appears on the track and there is no turning back. Some people are standing in front of it and when the door opens several enter. You wait; and then it opens up again and you can tell your name is on the list. So you enter, probably believing that you are a guest. When suddenly it becomes clear that the actual guests are expected and the head turns to you: "Are you able to prepare a dessert?"

Live and Learn

Like the gentleman who had unwittingly mistaken our Strandkorb for his and meant to prove his claim by pointing out that his key did actually fit the lock. I had to tell him that hirer the key does fit all of his Strandkörbe, something we had found out years ago. Still it makes me wonder how he would apply his newfound knowledge - tempting...

Respekt

Good that it means the same in several languages though sometimes it is spelled a little bit differently.

Yet I really liked Ilja Racek's image of two actors playing ping pong pretty much.

In a perfect world it should be like this - the arguments flying back and forth, while the audience has got the chance of becoming wiser along because they engage. And engage preferably without interest.

What On Earth

A performance for the performer or those people, who believe that they know all about it. Towards the proportionality, so the mind can enliven itself.

Paradox

Whatever ideal given out by fashion or advertisment, i. e. the ideologue, becomes so predominant that the differences between people become forbidden, forbidden to mention and to see. Yet deep down everybody wants to be distinguished, maybe singular, and this desire manifests itself in the gender.  Difference goes private or maybe rather distinction.
