Delicious
The best apple I've ever tasted - and I do remember this though it's decades ago - was a tiny shrivelled rather ugly looking one, yet it smelled and tasted wonderful.

Tightrope
There is a lot to be said in favor of Peter Brook's approach to rehearsals and the exercise he does, not only from an actor's perspective I guess, but also very much from the audience's. Both have to work to establish the imaginary reality of the tightrope ;)!

Ecce!
OOnly if the detail and the whole form an inseperable unity, one sees the single stroke and the form at once or even better it continually oscillates, I'm satisfied. One should see the wood and the trees ;)

I Couldn't Help It
And I will surely take the blame, but what is the point of remaining flawless, while we're still alive ;)

Paradox
Most intriguing to me are conflicting traits like being at once devotional and haughty. Whatever would make a proud person go down on his/her knees...

Present II
This goes way back...
Something I observed and later on it was turned into a joke:
"How was your vacation?" - "I don't know, I have to have a look at the photos."

Present
Being open, alert and attentive.
If you're texting or reading on your smartphone, you're never ever actually present...

"Even those paintings that are claimed to not say anything say something by not saying anything." - Barnett Newman
There is an almost desperate truth in that sentence, at least nowadays.

Plaudite
There is that ridiculous situation when everybody refuses to see the elephant in the room - and, wow, could this be a frightening sight - , but in a comedy there is much fun to be drawn out of it.
Plaudite amici comedia finita est.

Curiosity
"Curiosity is one of the forms of female bravery" - Victor Hugo
This kind of curiosity that tries to understand without preconception, an openess to the unexpected.
Sometimes one even might find oneself doing stuff that at first sight appears to be quite unreasonable, yet if one is willing and brave enough, it curiously will make some sense... ;)

Feminine
Though we might tease you men, be sure that, when we are at our best, we do try to understand and in the end will always (take) care.

Sense of Humour
Sometimes I wonder if my sense of humour, the things I laugh about, are at all intelligible to other people...
A very good example of how confusing it can be is Hugh Laurie in this little excerpt.
I think it's hilarious and I absolutely know why the Belgians laughed ;)!
