Artistic Freedom

So I was asked during my exam at the academy in Münster what I would do if I were asked to do an art installation. My answer was that I would go and have a look at the place and if I came up with a suitable idea I would do it and if not I wouldn't - simply like that. So it's definitely part of my artistic freedom - as I suppose any artist should exercise - to do nothing.

It may sometimes seem like cold-shouldering, but to me for example this is certainly the part of my body I most hate to get cold. If artists exercise their right to not act, please do not get them wrong, it's simply that they rather do nothing than something mediocre.
