There is this place of contrasts, on the one hand the quarry pond, where people go to relax in the sunshine, and just across the street the prison for juvenile deliquents. Passing this place of extremes on a bike tour, Adrian starts considering the prison, when suddenly he raises his hand, waving to a prisoner in open prison, sitting in an open window sunbathing; and the prisoner waves back.
