Stapelgek - Vernarrt - Doting

'Gek' or 'Jeck' or 'Geck' - a word that was also used by Shakespeare.

There is a slight but important difference. When Suzanne or Susanna says that she will be going now, the singer says "No" in English but "Ja/ Yes" in Dutch. Maybe it's just due to the rhyme but it could also illustrate a different temper.

The Fold

"Do you know that there comes a midnight hour when every one has to throw off his mask?...I have seen men in real life who so long deceived others that at last their true nature could not reveal itself...But he who cannot reveal himself cannot love, and he who cannot love is the most unhappy man of all." - Kierkegaard

A Taste For the Absurd II

Absurdity at its best is not denial, but ambiguousness. If a comunity or culture is sure of itself, there's no harm done but a lot of fun can be had out of it.

And yes, indeed it was a lot of fun last Tuesday, because all these categories that would divide us simply vanished.

Equilibrium

And Flip Kowlier's salute to the (dying) art of the circus artist.

Everytime

...this was on the radio, it was time to have a little celebration. Time for this girl to dance on the table. Oh, the hard times when there was no world wide web and such songs just to come by by listening to Studio Brussel ;).

Liquidity

There are many possible dimensions to the human existence.

And something liquid may be included.

There might be a scale one has internalized and this might tell if something is morally right or wrong. Let's never assume people do not realize it.

Humor ist, wenn man trotzdem lacht - Humour Is If You Laugh Anyway

If something feels silly and ridiculous instead of denying or hiding it it could be better to directly address it. Certainly it will take the wind out of whatever sail and show great reflection and hence intelligence.
